HIPPO Multipower sponsored SMi Group‘s Future Soldier Technology Conference which took place from 9 to 11 March 2020.
Hippo briefed the conference on their range of All Terrain Support Vehicles with their key characteristics of Payload, Mobility, Exportable Power and Optional Robotics.
The ATSV can be driven by a human operator sitting in the vehicle or under remote/autonomous control.
The Hippo ATSV is one of the vehicles selected to be part of the British Army’s Robotic Platoon Vehicle (RPV) Project; robotic and autonomous control provide by Diehl Defence, communications provided by Domo Tactical Communications (DTC) and thermal driving camera provided by Liteye UK Ltd.
